MatchThreeHD is a giant version of the popular color matching game Bejeweled. Instead of using a standard 8 by 8 grid, MatchThreeHD uses a grid of 38 by 38. This means there are infinite matches and the board never runs out of possibilities. Take your time. This is casual gaming at its most relaxed.

How to Play:
The goal is to create sets of three or more similar colored gems (horizontally or vertically). Sounds easy right? It is.

Click on two adjacent (touching) gems to swap their places. If the swap creates a set of three or more similar colors, you earn points!

Quick FAQ
Is it possible to "beat" MatchThreeHD ?
No, not really. Well, possibly. In theory, if you worked you way up from the bottom, you could clear the entire board of potential matches. If this happens, a special game-over screen will appear. This screen has a secret code word. The first person to send the code word to me will win eternal bragging rights.

My eyes feel like they are going to explode...help?
If this occurs, please take a twenty minute break and rest your eyes. But yes, we are proud to report that much like looking directly into the sun, MatchThreeHD is a mix of beauty and pain.

Pro-tip: You can tackle the game in larger, easier to digest portions if you right-click and select ‘zoom-in’. After you’ve completed a corner, right-click again to zoom back out.

I have feedback on the game. How can I contact the creator of MatchThreeHD?
Simon Robertson of SideHatch Studios can be contacted here.

What inspired you to create this game?
The inspiration to expand the traditional match three game into something this massive and absurd came from what the blogs are calling High Resolution Tetris. I first read about that game here on Boing Boing.

When I squint, MatchThreeHD reminds me of Lite-Brite. Am I right?
Yes, you are.
